Welcome, and thank you for stopping by! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Charm School (the "Shop," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, our Shopify store, and any purchases made through them or at in-person markets and events. By browsing our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

About Our Products

Every item in this shop is cut and sewn by hand, which means:

- Slight variations in stitching, fabric pattern placement, color, or finish are part of the charm, not a defect
- Measurements are taken carefully, but small differences can occur between handmade pieces
- Photos are edited to represent color as accurately as possible, but monitor and device settings may cause slight color differences

Upcycled & Secondhand Materials

Many of our pieces are made using upcycled, secondhand, or deadstock fabric. We love giving these materials a new life, but this also means:

- Each piece made from upcycled fabric is one-of-a-kind (or made in a very limited run) and may not be exactly reproducible once sold out
- Because we're often working with limited yardage, pattern placement, seam positioning, or panel matching may vary between similar-looking items, no two pieces are identical
- Upcycled or secondhand fabric may carry subtle signs of its past life, such as minor fading, soft creasing, small imperfections, or a texture that feels different from new-off-the-bolt fabric. These are part of the material's character, not defects
- Fabric origin and fiber content are shared to the best of our knowledge, but exact composition isn't always guaranteed with secondhand materials
- If a specific fabric sells out, we may not be able to offer a restock or exact match, even for a garment you've purchased before

Orders & Payment

- All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice
- Payment is due in full at the time of purchase
- We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory issues. If this happens, you'll be refunded in full.

Shipping

- Processing times are noted on each product page or at checkout and may be longer for made-to-order or custom items
- Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number by email
- We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, customs, or incorrect shipping information provided at checkout

Returns & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are handled according to our Return Policy. By placing an order, you agree to those terms as well.

Intellectual Property

All designs, patterns, photographs, and content on this site are the original work of Charm School. You may not reproduce, sell, or redistribute our designs, patterns, or product photos without written permission.

Custom & Made-to-Order Items

For custom or made-to-order pieces, measurements and design details are confirmed with you before production begins. Please double check all measurements and details before submitting, as production starts shortly after your order is placed.

Limitation of Liability

We take care in crafting every piece, but garments are meant to be worn and cared for as intended. Charm School is not responsible for damage resulting from improper washing, drying, or care that goes against any included care instructions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the item.

Market & In-Person Sales

If you purchase an item at a market, pop-up, or other in-person event, these Terms apply in addition to any signage or verbal policies communicated at the time of sale.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
